Dr. Petrozzi is a native of Mingo Junction, a small town in Eastern Ohio near Steubenville. He graduated from Catholic Central High School in Steubenville. He then spent the next four years at Otterbein College where he double majored in Life Science and Biochemistry. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 2003. He has had a broad plethora of training in foot and ankle surgery spending three years in Youngstown completing an extensive three-year hospital-based medical and surgical residency. He is married and lives with his wife, in a Cleveland suburb. He enjoys being spending time with his family, working outside, family and social get-togethers, cookouts, fishing and playing with his Boxer and English Bulldog.
Dr. Petrozzi’s specialized training gives him the ability to treat common foot and ankle conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, and diabetic feet with the latest techniques and most modern technology such as minimal incision, arthroscopic, and laser surgery. In addition Dr. Petrozzi has had extensive training in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of severe hindfoot and ankle ailments including trauma, fractures, tendon ruptures, sports injuries and severe deformities requiring reconstructive surgery. He has trained under some of the most notable foot and ankle surgeons in the country using the latest technology and equipment.
